Amcrest
Amcrest cameras support FTP upload on most models, including the IP and ProHD series. Amcrest is based on Dahua hardware, so the configuration screens look similar.
Set up FTP on your camera
In the web interface, go to Setup → Storage → FTP. In the Amcrest View Pro app, go to Device settings → Storage → FTP. Set the remote directory to the name you want the camera to appear as in Lunetta.
Folder name
Set Remote directory to a name like backyard. Amcrest automatically creates a date-based subfolder structure inside it:
backyard/
└── 2026-06-04/
└── 001/jpg/14/30/
Lunetta reads the timestamp from the folder path (YYYY-MM-DD/HH/MM), since Amcrest filenames don’t contain a readable timestamp.
Notes
- For Amcrest NVRs, configure a separate remote directory per channel.
- If your camera screen looks different from the guide above, also check the Dahua guide — the settings are often identical.
