Users & permissions
Lunetta supports multiple user accounts. Each user has one of two roles: admin or viewer.

Inviting a new user
Go to Users and click Invite user. Enter their email address and select a role.
You’ll get a shareable invite link. Send it to the person you’re inviting. When they open the link, they’ll be prompted to set a password and will be logged in immediately.
Invite links are valid for 7 days. If the link expires, generate a new one from the Users page.
Password reset
If a user forgets their password, you can generate a password reset link for them:
- Go to Users
- Click the Reset password button next to their name
- Copy the link and send it to them
Reset links are valid for 24 hours. You can generate a new one at any time.
Note: admins cannot generate reset links for other admin accounts. Only viewer accounts can have their password reset this way. If an admin loses access, they can use a recovery code.
Recovery codes
Every user has 10 recovery codes. These are the only way to regain access if a password is forgotten and no admin is available to generate a reset link.
Recovery codes are shown once — immediately after account creation. To access them again, go to Account → Recovery codes and click Regenerate. This invalidates all existing codes and generates 10 new ones.
Each code can be used once. If all 10 are used up, regenerate them from the account page.
To log in with a recovery code, go to the login page and click Use a recovery code.
Changing roles
Go to Users and click the role badge next to a user’s name to toggle between admin and viewer.
Removing a user
Click the trash icon next to a user’s name in the Users list. The user’s account is deleted immediately and they will be logged out.
Your own account
Go to Account to change your password or regenerate recovery codes. You cannot change your own role.
