Foscam

Foscam cameras support FTP upload on most models, including the R series (dome/pan-tilt) and C series (fixed).

Set up FTP on your camera

In the web interface, go to Settings → FTP Settings. Set the FTP folder to the name you want the camera to appear as in Lunetta.

Folder name

Set FTP folder to a name like front-door. That name becomes the camera label in Lunetta. Use a different name for each camera.

Filename format

Foscam uploads files named like:

MDAlarm_20260604-143022.jpg
MDAlarm_20260604-143022.mp4

The timestamp portion is YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS. Lunetta extracts the time from this pattern.

Notes

• The FTP folder field typically requires the path without a trailing slash: /front-door, not /front-door/.
• The filename prefix (MDAlarm_) doesn’t affect Lunetta — only the date/time portion is read.
